The Waldo Project

Welcome to the Waldo Project! It's really simple! Below this easy-to-understand paragraph is an image that should save at roughly 4x6 inches at full size (even if it doesn't, that's fine). It has several Waldos on it. The idea is that you print out this sheet of Waldos, cut 'em apart, and keep them in your purse or wallet. And everywhere you go shopping, find an item on the sales floor that has a box you can slip a Waldo in without damaging the package, and then do that. Don't hide all of them in the same store. Just one or two per location and make sure they're a few aisles apart in completely unrelated products. I want people hiding Waldos everywhere they go, because eventually, someone will buy the item you hid a Waldo inside. Now imagine you're that person. How awesome is it that you found a Waldo inside your box of sporks? In the pocket of the pants you just bought? Wedged between two sticks of deodorant you got in a two-pack?

If you didn't just smile a little bit when you read this, then I know the kid in you is dead and I feel sorry for you. But for all you smilers sitting there, this is how we will make the world a slightly better place, if not at least more amusing. Personally, I'm gonna mark my Waldos so if I see any of them in a trash can or laying in a parking lot, I know that I reached someone. If only for a second.
