Episode #33: A Brief History of the Time Machine

Everyone knows that there are only FOUR "accepted" methods of time travel. The Flux Capacitator, faster-than-light travel, Tacheon particles, and I guess magic. There weren't a whole lot of wizards in the early 1900s as most of them were burned alive in the 1800s. The Flux Capacitator could only be invented with the technology available in the mid-80s, and even after it was created, Doc Brown went to his grave with the knowledge of how to build it. He knew that it was too dangerous a technology to go around boasting that it could be done. And faster-than-light travel is impossible. Forever. We will never travel faster than light.

So I hope that answers any questions anyone may have had about where the time machine came from, who that severed head belonged to at the begining of the story, and why the main interface was put on the outside of the time machine. Chris is traveling through time in the prototype resulting from a failed attempt to create the microwave. The end.
