Episode #70: Super-Late Halloween Special
Don't feel too bad for that baby. I happen to know that it was unbaptized and probably going to hell, anyway. I like my humor like I like my women... Dark. (That's not true. Stay out of the sun, ladies.)
So this comic was inspired by watching Warlock 2 (I think) a few months back. I originally wanted to put this up for Halloween, but failed to update the comic that week at all. The conversation between the two satanists originally ran much, much longer and also covered the commercialization of Halloween not unlike a Christmas movie's protagonist might question the meaning of Christmas. Being WELL past Halloween at this point, I felt it was okay to cut all that crap out and get this strip down to a lean seven panels. What's that? There are only six panels? Yes. I also fucked up while drawing this and forgot an entire panel while laying it out. By the time I noticed, it was far too late to start over and I guess I didn't need it, anyway. That's the kind of professionalism you can expect from How To Be Awkward.
If nothing else, I hope this helps you all appreciate the Robin Blue-Lord comics going forward.
At any rate, if you're still with me at this point, I do intend to kick off Season 5 with a brand-new storyline pretty soon. However, if you know me in the real world, I've been saying that for a couple months now. I'm kind of hoping that putting it out there in print will light a fire under my ass and get me back in the drawing groove.
