Episode #64: Fireside Chat

Secondly... Last week. Man. What can I say? I fucked up. I dropped the ball. I let you... and MYSELF... down. Don't get me wrong. I still love me. I'm just disappointed right now. It was Halloween ON my regular update day. ON THE SAME DAY. I wanted to put something special up. Just a really great Halloween strip or a wallpaper or something... But between having absolutely no good ideas for a comic and remembering that all of my characters will look indistinguishable from eachother in Halloween costumes, I just didn't get it done. I even thought about posting a Bitstrip about how unfunny and lame Bitstrips are, but everyone I talked to about it hates Bitstrips more than I do and were violently opposed to the idea. It was too soon to bust out Robin Blue-Lord again. And even if I did, I didn't have anything even remotely amusing for him to do.
It was just a real bummer of a week last week.
And I didn't even miss my update because I was off Halloween partying all week. I worked, man. I went to work every day. Even on Halloween. Didn't even dress up. I went to work as a 29-year-old Assistant Store Manager who harbors a very quiet resentment for his life. Wild times, lemme tell ya.
But really, I was just crazy busy last week. Won't get into the details, because they are incredibly boring. It was all work stuff.
I'm gonna level with you, though. I did feel that what little free time I HAVE had over the last few weeks was better spent playing Pokemon. So there's that. It'll probably mean I'll be drawing some Pokemon-related comics in the near future, too. So, ladies... set your panties to "moist." It's gonna be a rager.
