This comic probably has a niche market. Plus, I'm waaaaay behind the curve on this one since the last Mortal Kombat game came out like a year ago or something, but I only just picked it up yesterday. It's all fresh to me.
I think this is how a rational human being would react to suddenly knowing the exact details of their death. On top of that, it was pointed out to me years ago that an immortal would actually have a very intense fear of death due to the fact that they were never meant to experience it. Probably not so common that they feel that fear, but when the possibility DOES come up that they might die, they absolutely flip their shit. It's a concept that's stuck with me for some reason, but I never have any particular use for.
