Episode #09: Right & Wrong
Pay no mind to the religious commentary. I'm not really trying to make a case for anything. I was just trying to think of something that might piss God off enough to react. Not YOUR God, mind you. HTBA's God. HTBA's God is the kind of dude that would feel giving your wife the clap (in the traditional sense) would be an appropriate reaction to you cutting him off in traffic. HTBA's God is the kind of dude that would release a zombie-causing virus into a mall just to see what we would do. HTBA's God is the kind of dude that doesn't really have a problem with homosexuality, but understands that some other people do. HTBA's God doesn't understand why there are still dietary restrictions for any religion despite the advances the human race has made in food storage and preparation. HTBA's God isn't trying to make a point or save your soul. He's just bored and comfortable with his level of power. The novelty has worn off and he doesn't feel like this world should be saved or governed anymore. We're like a job that he used to like, but now he resents. And to be entirely honest, he finds us all much more entertaining when left to our own devices.
