Episode #21: Timetravelologist?
And we're kicking off Season 02 with a story about time travel. I do not have any rhyme or reason behind where my "seasons" end and begin, so don't expect to find one. Now, I have a couple things to say about this strip. First, that raptor was my third attempt at drawing a raptor. Here are my first two attempts:
Sometimes I like when my drawings come out shitty more than when they come out awesome. Mostly because for some reason, when I put the word "shitty" in front of something, I simply can't stop laughing at it. That's one shitty computer, man. Where do people keep buying all these shitty little dogs? Why do I keep eatting this shitty pizza? This is a shitty baby. And so on. Honestly, it's the best synonym for "defective or useless" that I've ever heard and/or used.
If you've ever spent any length of time around me, you would know that I almost always have a little 5x3 inch notebook and a pen in my pocket. This habbit started when I was doing my first comic and it was so I could write down ideas when I got them so I wouldn't forget them. A lot of the comics you've been reading here started off in one of those notebooks as stick figure outlines. When I drew the outline for this comic in there, the time machine was a box with an analog clock on it. You know. To signify that it was a time machine. As you can see, I pretty much stuck with that design for this comic. Also: Russ informed me after his last appearance that I was "generous with his hairline." I hope to have corrected it in this episode.

Also, this week's wardrobe is provided by What Pumpkin? and NBC. What Pumpkin? deals exclusively with merch for MS Paint Adventures, which is an amazing thing. Once again, Russ is portrayed in a shirt he actually owns. I am not.
